I strongly suggest you boot up the game with a default Shepard and test out the mods you install first. If you have more than one mod installed chances are you may have certain things overlapping unless you know what you're doing. Remember to AutoTOC every time you have a mod (Mod Manager and EXE installers do it automatically). Also if you download mods off of Nexusmods look out for the optional downloads for 'compatibility DLCs' and read through the Readmes.I know I sound like your mom now, but I kinda had a setback last I played all 3 games because I hadn't checked out how my mods actually worked when I got to 3 and then an hour into the game I got frustrated with how only half the textures had been modded making it look inconsistent and some mods not affecting the game properly. If you need help with any mod, PM me. I really think they should change the name for EGM at some point. The impression I get and how I sometimes see others react is that this somehow unlocks the entire map and all missions from the beginning of the game which turns people away from the mod, because that would break the intended experience. However, what the mod really does is add a ton of stuff and let you modify the campaign experience if you so choose but not to make it easier or ridiculously open-ended, just to create more choices on top of what's already there.
The added text-driven assignments and more detailed war-texts make me so much more invested in the game. It really removes the feeling I had before that ME3 was too streamlined and linear.
