Nerf Zombie Strike Dreadbolt Review is the focus of today's nerf zombie strike video here on the Cj Nerf channel. I have finally gotten my hands on a NEW zombie strike dreadbolt nerf gun that was released. The nerf zombie strike dreadbolt is a old school medieval crossbow type of nerf blaster designed like out of the days of knights and kings! The zombie strike dreadbolt is very large as you could see from the thumbnail it was almost as big as my 3 year old. The nerf zombie strike dreadbolt crossbow blaster is not feasible in a nerf battle due to the very finicky loading mech and slow operation of this nerf blaster. Toy guns of this nature are made for target shooting and NOT firing at people so it might be right at home in a birthday party for a game.
The arrows are not straight and tend to bend in one direction NOTE make sure to load the dreadbolt with the arrows bent up for optimal performance. I personally don't mind the nerf zombie strike dreadbolt toy because i like old school weapons and really enjoy researching battles and history so add that to having a son that will be having nerf birthday parties this is a fit for me. Now having said that the Zombie Strike Dreadbolt crossbow i would consider to be a specialty blaster that will not appeal to many nerfers especially with a price tag of 49.99. But i will leave that up to you!
We did do an extended nerf Dreadbolt range test to see overall the maximum range of this toy guns and this was done in place of the normal chrono data. Just keep in mind this 2017 new nerf crossbow is HUGE and a cool addition to the Nerf Zombie Strike Series! Took me, and a knife, almost five minutes to extract it. They certainly did not skimp on packaging. Secondly, it doesn’t /feel/ cheap either.Plugged it in and let it sit to charge up. Does not come with MicroSD card (which it REQUIRES) So expect to plonk down a few bucks additional if you don’t have a spare.Case is well built, comes with some decent mounting options. The tactical rail is surprisingly well built.
Mounting point between the brackets is a standard 3/4” tripod screw. (What’s that? Using a somewhat universal camera mounting bolt? Will wonders never cease) Instructions are sort of sparse, I had to work out how to move the helmet attachment to the Rail attachment. But a minute of being smart at the thing was enough.Quality. The 5mp camera is actually decent.The value in it seems, to me, to be in the mounting gear, they definitely made durable and worthy camera mounts. I may even see if the Tactical Rail can hold/tolerate my DSLR.But for $50, you getactually a good $50 worth of gear. I’ll post video samples later, when I can get some time to take proper video samples. The bicycle mount is actually /very/ stable, some rubberizing on the inside, and I'd trust it with my DSLR. The camera quality is. Well, 640x480@30fps with decent lighting its got a good enough quality, for its cost.

You'll be best off setting it aside as a tripod mount, not a moving camera.The tactical rail mount is /quite/ nice. And while it does not stick solidly enough to take the weight of my DSLR + active movement, it does manage my sony mini handicam.I would have been upset at the $49 price, if I was buying it JUST for the camera. However, taken as a whole package, it was worth the value.Don't expect 'GoPro' quality out of 'Nerf' price points.
